He is also the Eastern NC Director for the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. QUILTERS Gather your needles and thimbles and get ready to start on January 5. The plan is to quilt each Thursday from 9:00 a.m until…… Again this year, we will be on the second floor, Rm. 206, near the elevator. Invite your friends, even non-Ephesian folks and even non-quilters. They can join in the conversation and that's half the fun of "the quilting."The group will sorely miss Virginia Elliott, our faithful and most skilled quilter and dear friend, who passed away last year. We have such fond memories of her and she would want us to quilt and have fun together. So, bring lunch for yourself, a sandwich, salad, T-bone steak - whatever. We'll have hot tea here. See you then!! VBS LEADER NEEDED! It may seem like a long time until Vacation Bible School, but with much planning and work to be done, it takes much time. Ashley Carter will not be in a position to lead this time and will indeed be a huge act to follow. Nonetheless, with your help, we can continue with the success she has led us through in the past years. Our resources are limited, and as the Bible teaches us, many hands makes for light work. We hope you will make the commitment so we can continue to offer VBS to our church family and community. We will make a decision as to whether or not to continue to offer VBS based upon the emergence of a leader by February 1. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of this role and commitment.R E V I V A L
It is never too soon to start praying for God to truly manifest Himself to us all during this time.
